We have enough warm bodies in the office today to talk about a pretty broad range of topics. One of you wanted to know how we felt about the election, so here goes: Obama won. We talk about Activision CEO Bobby Kotick's declaration that if a franchise doesn't have annual potential, it's probably not feasible for the publisher (our paraphrasing, not his exact words). We discuss Cliffy B's feelings on betas and demos, and also whether a game like BioShock would have reached as many people without a demo.

And then there's bugs. Not just Locust footsoldiers, but issues plaguing console games as of late. Few are immune, and why is it a problem? We discuss the dynamics of bugs, and how they relate to the review process. Oh, and for some reason, we argue about how hard Gears of War 2 is on Hardcore. And that last part? The song is "Call on Me" by Eric Prydz. You're welcome.
