SNK

Japanese developer and publisher, best known for its popular fighting game series. SNK was also responsible for the NeoGeo arcade and home platforms as well as the internationally released NeoGeo Pocket Color handheld. After growing financial troubles, SNK became a subsidiary of Aruze in early 2000. The company later pulled its NeoGeo Pocket out of the US and European markets, closed its international offices, and eventually filed for bankruptcy in April 2001.
