Japanese development house located in Kichijoji, Tokyo. Headed up by company president Uno Asahi, Aki has developed a series of critically acclaimed WCW vs. NWO and WWF wrestling games for THQ. Aki currently employs a staff of 82 and works closely together with such high-profile companies as Asmik, Sega, Matsushita and Nintendo. The company was founded in 1995 and went public in 1998.
Aki changed its corporate name to "syn Sophia" in April. Products are no longer released using the Aki banner.
