Insomniac Games

Founded in 1994, Insomniac Games is a wholly independent console videogame developer that became renown for its award-winning hits released for the PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The company has also branched out into multi-patform and web-based game production. Insomniac Games has created franchises such as Spyro the Dragon (which it developed through the first three titles), Ratchet & Clank and Resistance: Fall of Man.

Insomniac Games operates out of Burbank, California. In June 2008, the company announced an expansion studio in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina (commencing January 2009.)
