Founded in 1997 by Gordon Hall, Jason McGann, Dave Box and Ian Bowden as Mobius Entertainment, Rockstar Leeds is a 30-some strong team of games designers and programmers dedicated to handheld game development. The company is situated in Pudsey (just outside Leeds) in an 18th Century converted Church.
In April 2004, US publisher Rockstar acquired the developer and the company was reborn as Rockstar Leeds.
