According to Sakaguchi, Mistwalker is a pure game development studio that is focused primarily on creating original RPG titles while leaving the publishing side of the business to other companies. The first projects out of Mistwalker were two exclusive games for Microsoft's then-emerging Xbox 360 system -- Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.
Final Fantasy creator says the closer the game comes to completion, the closer he's leaning toward leaving the industry.
