Realtime Worlds

A company founded by Grand Theft Auto creator David Jones, this company specialized in MMO and other games with living, breathing environments. Realtime Worlds was founded in 2002, and had staff in Dundee, Scotland and Seoul, South Korea.

Realtime Worlds initially had success out of the gates with the Xbox 360-exclusive action game Crackdown, but unfortunately it suffered greatly with the financial and critical disappointment of its cornerstone title launch, APB. In August of 2010, it was announced that Realtime Worlds had gone into arbitration.
