Gamepot

Gamepot Inc. is a Tokyo-based digital entertainment company. Under the corporate philosophies, "Pursuit of Warmhearted Services and Creation of New Entertainment," the company strives to provide its audience with genuine digital entertainments. Shifting its main business from a mobile content provider to an online game publisher in 2004, the company successfully launched Pangya as its first title with the micro-payment business model.

Gamepot invested in Ponsbic (MMO developer) in 2006, and acquired online gaming divisions of Dex Entertainment (publisher/developer) and Cykan Games Japan (publisher/developer) in 2008. Gamepot's second chapter took off with the friendly acquisition by So-net Entertainment Corporation (formerly known as Sony Communication Network Corp.) in 2008.

To expand its market share further, Gamepot USA was established. Opened as the Los Angeles office in August 2008, Gamepot (USA), Inc. is dedicated to providing the best games free of charge, and invites all players to, "Taste the fun".
